BUNZED / DOCUMENTATION

Gerp wiki.

The essentials for the current Bunzed desktop app.

Getting started

Gerp is the conversation workspace in the Bunzed desktop app. Open Settings, add your OpenRouter API key, and save it. Then choose a model from the model selector.

On macOS, the API key is stored in Keychain. On other platforms, it stays in the current session. Your Bunzed account and your OpenRouter key are separate.

Conversations and files

Start a conversation with the + button. You can switch between conversations from the sidebar or the session tabs; drafts stay with their conversation.

The + button in the composer attaches a UTF-8 text or code file, up to 1 MB. That file is included with your next message. Use Command + Enter to send, or Enter to add a new line.

Models and replies

Choose a model from the searchable catalog, or enter its OpenRouter model ID. The model receives the history of the active conversation.

Replies appear as they arrive. Stop keeps the partial response; Retry repeats an interrupted request. Reasoning controls depend on what the selected model supports.

Your local history

Completed and stopped conversations, attached file snapshots, and model choices are saved on your machine. On macOS, they live in ~/Library/Application Support/Bunzed/workspace.json.

Conversation history is saved locally, while messages and attached context are sent to the selected model through OpenRouter when you use chat.
